I rarely become a King and star akingdom from scratch but once I have a steady weekly income and LOTS of relations with LOTS of lords also a decent army I join as a noble for either the sarranids or the swadians then join Arwa or Isolla in their rebellions and make them queens. It's great because they pay your troops wages and you can build up relationships with the nobles of that kingdom ALSO you won't suffer relationship damages when you move on to be a merc for another kingdom. But is best if you train that skill into a companion and make that companion into a heavily armoured crossbowmanīefore you become a noble you should become a mercenary for various kindoms. Surgery is a close second as it prevents your troops from dying. The best skills to develop in my opinion are trainer wich lets you upgrade soldiers up to tier 4 without putting them in battle if it is high enough. I was wondering if there are any guides or advice that i can follow so i can at least learn what I'm doing wrong.įor money get enterprices and land in cities and get some manhunters to knock out bandits (Sea raiders are the best for this) It's annoying when you work your way up with one king and all that reputation means nothing when you try to branch off on your own because he then just declares war on you along with everyone else. I don't know what skill points i should level up or what troops are best, I usually end up with a random assortment of units that I pick up along the way. If I build a huge army(200+) I run out of money unless I loot villages which ruins my honor and reputation. I want to start a new game with the end goal of eventually becoming king but I don't know where to start.
In my most recent game I started with sarranid and got my reputation up with the king and lords but the second I try to make my own faction again everyone declares war on me and after a few days I get only like 3 lords with small armies who want to join up with me even though i have a few cities and castles. In my first playthrough I started with Nord but I started to siege castles and cities too early without building any reputation first causing everyone to team up against me. I'm using the Floris mod with the expanded troop tree and am having some issues with making my own kingdom. I just started playing this game a week ago and I'm already addicted.
